FOREVER reached golden status on Spotify. PERFECT DAY, that was used in the Paramount Hollywoodfilm ’The In Between’, charted in over a hundred countries and SHINE YOUR LIGHT was discovered by almost a million listeners in the USA.
Streams on Spotify exceed 25 million and vinyl as well as cd’s of the first two albums are being re-ordered.
The exceptional trio stood their ground on many Dutch festivals and fully connected with a sold-out Ziggodome supporting Eric Clapton twice.
Shining with a stellar Dutch singer and the typical Vintage Future bounce Mell & Vintage Future will be touring Dutch theaters starting November 2022.
The album BREAK THE SILENCE obviously is a next step in writing and producing original work. Uplifting songs of hope such as LOVE TRAIN, TOO MUCH OF A WOMAN and the latest single I WAS WRONG are combined with more intimate and relevant songs such as WORTH IT and FROZEN IN TIME. Everyday personal challenges resonate in SHINE YOUR LIGHT and BREAK THE SILENCE and the climate question drops in MUDDY WATERS. There will always be soulful love songs and on this album they are called GIVE LOVE A TRY and STOP.
The beautiful artwork is a joint effort by drummer Ton Dijkman, photographer Ruben van der Meer and art director Loudmouth.
